SPX Gestão de Recursos informed the market on Tuesday night that in the negotiations conducted over the past few days, the funds under its management sold a relevant stake in Hapvida common shares, which now own 18,734,664 common shares, representing 3.73% of the health insurance company’s shares.
Now, the funds have 5 million common shares on lease, and 53,000 call options; and 2.3 million derivative financial instruments expected to be exclusively financially settled, denoted by Hapvida common shares.
According to SPX, there is no agreement or contract regulating the exercise of voting rights or the purchase and sale of Hapvida securities by funds managed by SPX.
