González Amador’s lawyer is using the Lastra tax against García Ortiz
Gonzalez Amador’s lawyer repeats his accusation theory in court and uses Almudena Lastra, president of the Fiscalía de la Comunidad de Madrid, as a weapon against the Malian general. The learned person attempts to maintain his theory that there was a conspiracy at the head of the Public Ministry arguing, among other things, that García Ortiz “hid” his actions from Lastra. For him, the lawyer of Ayuso’s friend reproduced a supposed telephone conversation that, according to the inspector, took place between Lastra and García Ortiz.
During his testimony as a witness, he had doubts about Garcia Ortiz. According to what I said in court, in this telephone conversation I left the inspector: “You got away!” o “¡Lo habéis filtrado!”, referring to the mail published by the press. According to Lastra’s version, García Ortiz responded: “It doesn’t matter now.” A sentence that is neither a confession nor a denial.
However, Garcia Ortiz contradicts me. The Malian general on the ground confirmed that he had never heard these words from his side, but there was not enough trust between the two to address him in these terms: “I doubt that money from this country is directed to the country’s Malian general.”
