The Regional President, Latin America, will continue to be Disney’s representative in the region and will be responsible for unifying strategic priorities and financial results, coordinating teams at the regional level and leading local initiatives across the business (except Disney Experiences). The Regional Head will also oversee the Human Resources, Communications and Finance functions.

In addition, Disney announced the appointment of Argentinian Diego Lerner as Honorary President of The Walt Disney Company Latin America in recognition of his invaluable contribution to the company over the years..
In turn, Martin Airolawho led the Latin American region on an interim basis, He will serve as President of The Walt Disney Company in Latin America. Iraola will report to Alan Bergman and Dana Walden, co-presidents of Disney Entertainment, and Jimmy Pitaro, president of ESPN.
