According to PCMS, the priest’s murder was planned and involved five people, three of whom were teenagers.
So far, investigators have arrested Leanderson de Oliveira Jr., 18, and João Victor Martinez Vieira, also 18, and arrested three teenagers.
Delegate Lucas Albi Febo, who is heading the investigation, said that the priest was killed inside his home in Dourados, with blows to the head with a sledgehammer and stab wounds to the neck and chest.
