The Board of Directors of Americanas, in a judicial appeal, elected Sébastien Dorschon to the position of Director of Financial and Investor Relations of the company, with a mandate starting on December 1, 2025.
Durchun is an executive with 27 years of experience in finance. He began his career in auditing Mazars, founded consultancy Consomind and held strategic positions at Fives and Carrefour, where he led the initial public offering in Brazil and led the integration of Grupo Big. Most recently, as CFO and then CEO of Dia, he organized and implemented a restructuring plan, including the rationalization of 342 stores and the recovery of the operation, which Americanas highlights in a statement to the market issued on Friday (28).
According to the retailer, Durchon’s path combines strategic vision, financial discipline and strong work with investors. On August 25, 2025, he joined the Americanas team as Vice President of Finance. “In his position as Director of Financial and Investor Relations at Americanas, he will continue the strategic repositioning plan of the company, after the most intense recovery period, with a greater focus on growth, efficiency and profitability, strengthening relationships with all stakeholders, and in particular with our customers, suppliers and banks,” the company says.
In addition, Camille Loio Faria, current Director of Financial and Investor Relations, will continue to advise Americana on matters related to judicial recovery, including, among others, matters involving the conduct of competitive sales of the relevant assets.
