The Colombian cancels Eduardo Bolsonaro’s vote in the congressional session policy

Colombri’s argument was that the internal regulations only allow parliamentarians who are outside the country on official business to vote.

“The Presidency informs the Plenary that, during the deliberations of the veto power through electronic balloting, an irregular voting record was found of Federal Representative Eduardo Bolsonaro. Given the provisions of the decision of the Presidency of the Chamber of Deputies published in the Official Journal of the Chamber of Deputies of 25 November 2025, which establishes the impossibility of a Federal Representative registering attendance or voting through an Infoleg request while outside the national territory if he is not on an authorized official mission.”

He added, “This presidency declares the aforementioned voting minutes invalid and decides to correct its results.”
