
Delegate Rafael Gomez de Chiara, in charge of the investigation into the airship crash in Praia Grande (SC), which left eight dead and 13 survivors, has been dismissed from his post by the state government. The dismissal was published in the Official Gazette last Friday (11/7).
Rafael was the head of the Santa Rosa do Sul police station and led the investigation, with the support of the Praia Grande, Paso de Torres and São João do Sul police stations, with the aim of determining the causes of the balloon crash that occurred on June 21, and ended without charges being brought against anyone.
