The driver who struck a 44-year-old man and a 13-year-old teenager on Tuesday night (11/11) was drunk. The victims were a father and his son, and the father died of his wounds.
The suspect ran over the victims 30 km from DF-130, in the rural center of Café Sem Troco, in Paranoa (DF). He fled after beating the victims, but police found him moments later.
The driver took a breathalyzer test upon approaching him, and the result was positive for alcohol consumption. The person, whose name was not revealed, was transferred to the 30th Police Station (São Sebastião).
A truck driver said, in a statement before the police station, that the author overtook his car on the shoulder. At that moment, the car would have hit the father and son who were walking on the side of the road. The truck driver also said that the father pushed his son so that he would not be injured, and saved the boy.

The Federal District Military Fire Department (CBMDF) was called and came to the aid of the 44-year-old, who was in cardiac and respiratory arrest when he was found by the military. The company said in a statement: “Despite all efforts, the victim did not move, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.”
