Jan worked at a car wash in the area, where he also lived with his mother and younger brother for about five years. On that day, he left the house around 8 p.m., wearing gray shorts and a black shirt.

In the column, the teenager’s aunt spoke of the family’s suffering: “We have had no news at all. No one knows anything. His mother seems almost alone,” she was angry.

According to the woman, who preferred not to identify herself, her mother received news that Jane might be in an abandoned building, so she sent the information to the police, who asked her not to go to the place, as they visited the address. However, according to the aunt’s report, no one ever went to the place.

Jan’s mother preferred to leave the house where she lived with the boy, and still lives with the pain of not knowing if the teenager is alive.

Disappearance

According to family members, the boy worked at a car wash, and as the owner of the establishment informed Jan’s mother, he left the place around 10 pm on October 24 to deliver a motorcycle to a customer, a resident of the same community. The car owner was the last person to contact the young man.

Jan’s working hours were 7pm to 9pm, but according to his mother, he would often stay after work hours to earn extra money. The teenager used to use the money to help with family expenses.

Questions

In the article, Jan’s cousin, who preferred to remain anonymous, said that the motorcycle owner reported that the boy appeared to be fine and asked him to return home. “He said he said, ‘Son, go home, it’s late.’ And then, this man used a language that Gene did not speak. He said he answered, ‘Okay, Dad, I’m going home,’ whereas Gene did not use that way of speaking,” the woman reflected.

The family says they have no idea what could have happened to Jane. According to his relatives, he never used illicit substances, never had a romantic relationship and did not usually leave the house — only to go to work.
