
The Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MAPA) has ordered the recall of batches of four brands of olive oil. Select the folder that produces Royal, Godeu, La Veta and Santa Lucia It is adulterated and unfit for consumption.
Samples collected and analyzed by the Federal Agricultural Defense Laboratories (LFDA) identified vegetable oils of other types in the composition of the products, which is described as fraud.
Based on the laboratory results, the oils from the four brands were declassified and their recall was requested.

As Mapa declassified the products, the sale of the four brands began to be considered a serious violation. Establishments caught selling the products can be held liable.
With regard to consumers who have previously purchased brand products, the Ministry advises that they immediately stop using the products and request that they be replaced at the establishment from which they were purchased, in accordance with what is stipulated in the Consumer Protection Law.
