During the early hours of Sunday 16 November, a new convoy of motorbikes once again sparked concern La Plata, Periso and Ensenada. To the deafening noise, dangerous maneuvers and vehicular chaos that were repeated in different parts of the urban area and neighboring towns, another piece of information was now added: the traditional motorcycle group was going to hold a meeting on Isla Macil, supposedly with official permits.
According to the neighbors today, A group of motorcyclists were riding along the street 122 and 43 towards the La Plata-Buenos Aires HighwayExploding modified exhaust pipes and performing reckless maneuvers, causing severe disturbance due to mid-morning noise. The same scenes were repeated in the cities of Ensenada and Periso, where motorcycles without helmets and without license plates were spotted traveling in the wrong direction or traveling at high speed.
On social networks, residents reported that many of those who participated in these caravans not only evaded controls, but also displayed motorcycles of questionable origin, some of which were allegedly stolen.

Added to this is the event that took place on Masil Island, where hundreds of motorcycles were brought together for a meeting that, as it turned out, would have a license. But the development was similar to that of city caravans: exhaust explosions, fireworks, acceleration, and dangerous maneuvers.
“The noise was unbearable. In addition, you could see motorcycles exploding their engines, causing injuries, and launching missiles. Who controls that?”said a neighbor who lives nearby.
The authorities are aware that convoys are usually organized through calls on social media networks, making it difficult to intercept them before they travel on public roads. For this reason, neighborhood organizations insist on strengthening controls on entrances, roads and key strategic points.
With incidents recurring weekend after weekend, residents are demanding urgent action: more police presence, confiscation of offending vehicles and controls that do not remain just sporadic operations. “Everything cannot remain in nothingness while the loss of control increases,” summed up the 122-year-old, 66-year-old resident.
