
Three men were arrested in the early hours of Wednesday (12/11) while trying to steal power cables from a drain. The crime occurred in 710/711 Asa Norte (DF).
According to the military police, during night patrols, the team noticed suspicious movement and, upon approaching, observed the ongoing criminal activity.

One of those involved, a 34-year-old man, monitored the area to warn of the arrival of the police or residents. The second, a 26-year-old man, went down into a hole and cut the underground wires, while the third waited outside to help remove the cables.
They were caught red-handed and taken to the Fifth Police Station (Central Region). According to police sources, the suspects have several previous records of theft, burglary and drug trafficking.
