One of the suspicions raised by the Internal Affairs Service, based on analysis of images from mobile operational cameras, was the theft of a rifle during the operation – a weapon that, according to the investigation, would be resold to criminals. The photographs served as a basis for indicating evidence of military crimes committed during service. Internal Affairs executed 5 arrest warrants and 10 search and seizure warrants.
In a statement, the press office of the State Secretariat of the Military Police informed that Friday’s operation is the result of these analyzes and stressed that the company “does not condone potential misconduct or crimes committed by its members, and strictly punishes those involved when the facts are established.”
