Adriana Oliveira, a correspondent for Globo’s TV Bahia, has announced that she is leaving the station. After 25 years of work, the journalist revealed that she decided to end the course and talked about leaving.
“Today I know, with the calm that time (also treatment) brings, that my course in television journalism is over,” he said. “I loved what I did. I was complete, physically and spiritually. But to continue would be violence to myself.”

She also reflected on the trip and thanked her colleagues. “I have spent 25 years and 6 months in Rede Bahia, more than half of my 51 years of life. More than half of my life. I was weaving my story intertwined with so many stories. And to every person who opened the door, smiled or hurt, I leave here my deepest gratitude.”
Adriana Oliveira intends to continue telling stories, but away from television. He revealed, “This farewell is not the end. Here comes a new way of telling letters and records what still lives inside me.”
