The Senate opens a tender worth R$1.15 million to purchase board games

The Federal Senate has opened a tender worth R$1.15 million to purchase 5,000 units of the board game “Elects: The Democracy Game”. The materials will be allocated to the Young Senator Program, coordinated by the Social Communications Secretariat in partnership with the Publishing and Publications Secretariat.

According to the Senate website, the game arose as a result of a challenge proposed by the House of Representatives administration to employees, with the aim of stimulating creativity and promoting innovation in the institution.

According to the notification, the modules will be used in pedagogical activities of the educational program targeting high school students.

Each game includes a hard box, eight boards, 400 Form 1 cards, 23 Form 2 cards, eight plastic pawns, one dice, an instruction manual and a quick guide. The print must be in colour, with matte lamination and sealed packaging.

The estimated unit value is R$ 229.75, and the winning company will have up to 90 days, from the date of signing the contract, to deliver all materials.

The product must have at least a 12-month warranty and meet the graphic specifications set out in the Terms of Reference, including box dimensions (32cm x 32cm x 5.5cm), paper type, weight and finish.
