
Article 18 of the Constitution “guarantees the right to honour.” Likewise, Article 12 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights states that “No one shall be subjected (…) to attacks upon his honor or reputation” and that “Everyone has the right to the protection of the law against such interference or attacks.”
We hear a lot about the “honor” of many people, usually people connected to public life – politics, justice, sports, art… -. Little is said about the “honor” of those who are not so important, that is, the honor of “ordinary people,” like the majority of us.
