In a weekend of rescue operations and after the tragic tragedy that occurred on Saturday afternoon in which up to three people were killed by naval strikes in Tenerife, three more people were rescued yesterday, Sunday, in La Palma. Emergency resources rescued three people, two women and a man, in the middle hours of Sunday, in a rescue operation in which several parties cooperated. The two women were rescued by a sea rescue ship. And La Palma firefighters who did the same thing to a man.
Among those affected were an 86-year-old woman suffering from moderate hypothermia and shoulder trauma, and another 51-year-old woman suffering from moderate hypothermia. They were transported by ambulance to La Palma General Hospital. Meanwhile, the man was not injured.
For its part, the port police, the Civil Guard, the National Police and Civil Protection intervened in the emergency apparatus that was deployed.
