Three women died in a traffic accident this Sunday morning (9), in São Vicente, on the coast of São Paulo. The car driver, who showed signs of intoxication, was arrested.
According to the SSP (Secretariat of Public Security), businessman Rui Barboza Neto, 26, was driving an Audi Q5, worth R$240,000, and lost control of the car, crashed into a tree and fell into a stream.

The victims were identified as Giovanna Ramos Reyes, 26 years old, Vitoria Gomez Maximino da Silva, 22 years old, and Bianca de Praz Fetoza Pinto, 25 years old.
A fourth passenger, hairdresser Nikoli Kawani de Moura Vujaka, 22, suffered minor injuries and was taken to the emergency room and released. Roy was also treated and released.
According to the police report, Nicoli said she was leaving the concert hall when Giovanna invited her to take a tour with her cousin Roy.
Nicoli stated that she did not know any of the people in the car other than Giovanna. Also according to the bulletin, Nicoli reported that she noticed that Roy showed signs of intoxication and was driving at a high rate of speed.
She said she stayed awake during the trip and saw that he lost control of the car and was unable to negotiate the curve. Then the car fell into the river.
The hairdresser said, according to the bulletin, that the car was filled with water, and that she was able to get out after someone broke the window glass.
Military Highway Police said the businessman was speeding, crossed a riverbed, hit a tree and then fell.
According to police, Roy showed obvious signs of intoxication, such as slurred speech, an odor of alcohol, and mental confusion.
The businessman underwent a negative sugar test, and the result was positive. In this test, the device is placed near the driver without the need to inflate it. He refused to take the traditional test.
Roy is arrested on suspicion of murder. He underwent a detention hearing on Monday (10) and his active detention was converted to preventive detention.
