Tractors stand out among cars with shiny tires – 11/27/2025 – Market

Before meeting the cars, visitors to the Sao Paulo Auto Show come face to face with a tractor and loader. The machines are on the John Deere platform and attract attention with their shiny tires. It is the result of the work of Ronelson Vander.

In addition to removing dust, the small business owner uses castor oil mixed with turpentine and liquid wax. “Once this film is applied, it will remain adhered to the tires for approximately 15 days, and will not come off.”

However, Vander needs to pass the product daily, in work being carried out before the opening of the Anhembi exhibition stand, where the event is held until Sunday (30). “People who come to visit the booth want to know what product is used and put their finger on the frame. It leaves their mark.”

The rear tire of the John Deere 723 M tractor is 1.75 meters long. The process of making it shiny takes up to two hours, Vander says. In the case of the unit displayed in the hall, it took much longer.

“This took a long time, and it was muddy. Apparently it came from a dynamo, and I had to wash the frame and wait for it to dry before applying the product,” Vander says.

The product used in indoor events is different from the product used in outdoor fairs, such as the Agrishow, which is held annually in Ribeirão Preto (the inland part of São Paulo). In these cases, the small business owner uses wax, which leaves the frame opaque. “It may rain, or it may fall softly, and you won’t let go.”

Vander travels throughout Brazil providing services for John Deere. The company is present at major exhibitions in the agricultural sector, but its presence at the Sao Paulo Motor Show surprised the public.

Thomas Spana, marketing director for the company’s construction division in America, says that the decision to participate in the event aims to bring the technologies used in the field closer to what is also available in cars.
