Sandra Regina Ruiz Gomez, known as Sandrao, revealed the truth about the “cage of love” in Tremembe prison. The space reserved only for same-sex couples who make their relationship official in a São Paulo prison has been revealed in the Amazon Prime Video series.
Sandrau denied that there was actually a space designated for couples. According to her, what has changed is that spouses can sleep together in their own cell.

Trimembe: Sandrao thinks Susan really fell in love with her
“You have a relationship with someone, as if you are responsible for this person and this person is responsible for you. Then you move into this cell and everyone has their own bed. You cannot do explicit things in front of people. After turning off the light, you close the curtain and sleep together,” he said in a conversation with Roberto Cabrini, on the Domingo Espetacular channel.
Tremembé, a Prime Video series, shows that Sandra would have shared space with Susanne von Richthofen, with whom she had a prison relationship.
What does Sandrao say about Tremembe?
Still in conversation with Record TV, Sandrau denies that he was some leader in Tremembé and says a fictional story has been created around his life. He adds: “Sandra has always been a family person, and tried to be close to people who love me, who I respect and admire. Sandra is a problem that arose within the prison unit.”
“Tremembé made me human. You have rules, you have to follow them. Those in Tremembé don’t want to leave Tremembé,” she added. Sandra also says the show lied about her involvement in the death of 14-year-old Talison.
He added: “I did not kill him. I made the call (to ask for money from the boy’s family), and I participated in something. I participated in a crime. I did not give (the order to kill the boy). It was not me (who fired the bullet). I was not even there. (The pain caused by that) is immeasurable. A mother lost her son.”
When Roberto Cabrini asked her, on the Domingo Espetacular programme, if she wanted to say something to the young man’s family, Sandra said: “I don’t know if they want to hear anything from me. The only thing that comes to mind is: I’m sorry, because I was involved in something that caused you this terrible pain.”
