The announcer fired All for a second chance As the first production designed for mobile phones
Globo started what it called “a new way of experiencing dramaturgy.” On the 25th, the broadcaster’s first production premiered in portrait format, designed specifically for viewing on a cell phone. “This is another look at dramaturgy, which can connect with audiences born into the digital environment or who simply want faster TV series, to be watched at any time of day, and on the most convenient screen or platform,” declared the director. All for a second chanceGlobo’s first television series.
The drama we love
The plot, which will have episodes available weekly on the network’s social media profiles, follows the story of Lucas Trajano (Daniel Rangel). The rich young man is about to marry Paula Magalhaes (Deborah Osorio), his first and only girlfriend, with whom the businessman lives a contemporary fairy tale that makes many people jealous. However, in parallel with this, the novel awakens a crueler side in Soraya (Jade Bacon), a childhood friend of the couple – who takes on the role of a ruthless villain in the plot. She harbors a secret passion for Lucas and his wealth. He will do anything to end their union and achieve what he wants.
At one point, when Lucas wakes up with no memory, Soraya manipulates his recovery, erasing traces of the past and taking Paula’s place in his life. She also has the support of the boy’s mother, who believes the villain’s lies. Meanwhile, Paula struggles to prove her innocence, rebuild her life, and regain her lost love. Even if he had to do so, he needed to face the distance from his father, Gerbas, and rely only on the support of Beth, his mother, and the loyal support of his friend Arthur. Amid secrets, betrayals, and vicissitudes, the plot shows Paula’s search for justice and redemption, and her determination to prove that true love resists even oblivion.
