A truck caught fire on Route 2, near La Plata, in an accident that caused great concern among motorists.
Following the accident that occurred at Kilometer 48, members of the volunteer fire station in Al-Palegro intervened quickly after receiving a distress call.
According to reports, “Within minutes, a team of firefighters led by Aguilera’s top aide arrived at the scene.”
“There they found a critical scenario: the flames had completely taken over the car, progressing fiercely and causing confusion and anxiety among people who were traveling on Route 2 due to a plume of black smoke of great strength,” they reported from the barracks.
The specialists confirmed that they acted “with determination, professionalism and coordinated action.”
According to reports, “firefighters fought the flames until they were able to control and extinguish the fire, avoiding what could have been a tragedy.”
