Volleyball Renata controls the moves and beats Minas in BH

Volley Renata defeated Itambi Minas 3 sets to 0, partial scores 25-16, 25-20, 25-23, on Wednesday night (11/26), at Arena UniBH, in Belo Horizonte (MG), in the eighth round of the 2025/26 Men’s Volleyball Premier League.

With this result, the Campinas team remained in third place and increased the crisis of the Minas Gerais team, which has suffered five defeats in six matches in the competition so far. See the full rating below.

Argentine Bruno Lima led Foli Renata in scoring with 15 hits. Next came winger Adriano and centre-back Penta with 9 and 10 respectively. The VivaVôlei Award went to the creators of Bruninho.

Pointer Leo Lucas sprained his ankle early in the second set, left the court and never returned. After losing the first set without causing any trouble to Foli Renata, Minas coach Guilherme Novaes changed the team. Gustavo Orlando, Samuel and Pato took over the court instead of Jawad, Aboba and Djalma respectively. Samuel finished the duel with 15 points.

Foley Renata returns to court on Monday (12/1), at 6:30 p.m., against Suzano, in Campinas (SP). Minas faces Juiz de Fora on Wednesday (12/3), at 7pm, at Juiz de Fora (MG).
