In a message to fans from around the world, Elton said that the show in Brazil in 2026 seeks to compensate for not including the country in the itinerary of his farewell tour. “In September 2026, I will go to Rio to play in Rock in Rio, and the reason is that I did not go to Rio for the ‘Farewell Yellow Brick Road’ tour.
