On the eve of La Plata’s new founding anniversary, the La Plata educational community finds itself in a wait filled with uncertainty: Will there be classes on Wednesday, November 19?
According to the 2024 Statement issued by the General Directorate of Culture and Education (DGCyE) of Buenos Aires, educational institutions run by the public and private sectors in the La Plata region last year They had no teaching activity On the occasion of the anniversary administrative holiday.
Today and in 2025, the school community is waiting for the official communications (DGCyE, i.e. Province of Buenos Aires), although many questions have already been noted, few answers and assumptions about whether the same way as last year will be maintained. Although the majority is looking forward to the anniversary and it is known so far that municipal employees will not have work on that day, there is confusion about the 19th and which days will be inactive days: neither the 21st nor the 24th.
