
Metroid Prime 4 beyond arrives on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 as the company’s last major exclusive for 2025 and does so with certain criticisms of its final result after waiting years and years for its release for retro studios.

- You can now use amiibos on the “amiibo” page in the pause menu.
- The controller now vibrates during cutscenes.
- Switch 2: When launching Metroid Prime 4 Beyond on the Nintendo Switch 2, the “Switch 2 Edition” option will appear in the menu after the title screen. Selecting it will take you to the Upgrade Path page in the Nintendo eShop.
- The rating information for the “ClassInd (Brazil)” rating system has been updated from “12” to “14”.
- The condition for unlocking some scenes in the “Gallery” has been changed from “achieve an item recovery rate of 100%” to “complete the game”.
- In “Hard Mode” the difficulty of some enemies has been adjusted.
- Some tweaks and fixes to improve your gaming experience.
