Sony launches review of the PS5 DualSense with optimized autonomy and internal improvements, and is now available in Europe

The commercial success of the PS5 would not have been possible without a “super controller” like the DualSense, which brought unprecedented benefits from generational change.

That was five years ago (which will be said shortly), and since then, the command received an older brother in the form of a Pro model, as well as numerous variants.

And precisely because five years have passed since the launch of the original DualSense, now an updated model arrives. And be careful: it includes important new features.

This is the DualSense review

The modder and expert Modifykatorcasper published all the news of the DualSense model that has just arrived in Europe.

Its main asset is that optimizes energy consumption. To achieve this, the internal board dispensed with some secondary components.

In this way, the command gains autonomy, with greater battery life; although at the moment the gain of the new model has not been specified.

Among the parts removed is an auxiliary microphone that was part of previous versions. Fortunately, tests indicate that the audio quality is unchanged.

Along with this, they were detected two different variants within the V2 itselfcoming from different manufacturers, but with no difference other than origin.

This model is included in recent PS5 Pro bundles, new shipments of the Slim model and new batches of loose controls, available in the European Union.

If you need to know if you own one of these new DualSense, the unmistakable indicator is the CFI-ZCT2W model number printed on the box.

Does this resolve the deviation? The short answer: no. The command’s large outstanding debt remains analog stick wear.

Several users asked If this revision introduces magnetic sensors or a replacement of potentiometers current to reduce the dreaded drift.

These are mere wishes, as the first analyzes confirm that technology from previous versions is maintained.

This version does not correspond to the renewed model with removable battery which has been rumored for months and that it would be “the authentic DualSense V3”.

It’s about a small update, focused on efficiency and manufacturingwhile the supposed V3 (if it arrives) would be the one that would mark an important leap.

The new DualSense will arrive in America and other regions as new batches of PS5 Slim and PS5 Pro are released. Are you satisfied with the new model or do you miss the old one?
