Filming will begin in March 2026 of god of war in Vancouver (Canada); the Prime Video series based on the PlayStation franchise.

Variety reports that Amazon has ordered two seasons of god of warwithout revealing whether there will be more after both parties.
They coincide with the two games that make up the story arc: god of war2018, and its sequel, Ragnarok.
The medium also reveals who will be the director of the first two episodes: Emmy winner Frederick EO Toye put Shogun.
Toye’s CV is a succession of television successes: was behind Western World, Undead and Watchmenbetween others.
He also worked for Amazon beforehaving written chapters of precipitation, The boys and The final list.
What is not in doubt is that god of war leave your problems behind, like those that led the original showrunners to leave the project in 2024.
Ronald D. Moore is now responsible for taking the reins of the series, despite admitted to not being very familiar with the games it is based on.
The adaptation also features Cory Barlog, responsible for the latest god of war on PS4 and PS5; as well as Hermen Hulst, head of PlayStation Studios.
As for the synopsis, it closely follows that of the games: Kratos and Atreus embarking a journey with the ashes of Faye, the young man’s mother.
“Through your adventures, Kratos teaches his son to be a godwhile Atreus will try to show his father what it means to be human.”.
The project joins the next adaptations that Amazon is preparing: the series of Life is strange and Wolfenstein.
