The Valencian motocross rider Enzo Badenas17 years old, died this Sunday during private training, as confirmed by the Specialized Center for Motor Sport Technology (CETDM) located at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit, of which he was a part.
According to sources close to the matter, this occurred on the circuit Vilafamés Red Sand Parkin the province of Castellón.
Born in Gandia in January 2008the rider joined CETDM in 2023 after achieving various exploits such as his 85cc Spanish Champion title the previous season.
The Center emphasized “great personal and professional growth” that had the rider, who had been called up with the Spanish motocross team and had participated in regional, national and international competitions, such as the European Championship.
“He Ricardo Tormo Circuit Technology Center “is dismayed by this news and all the staff of the CETDM and the Circuit wish to offer their condolences, affection and a lot of strength to all of Enzo’s family, colleagues, friends and loved ones in these difficult times,” the institution said in a statement.
The Generalitat also made public its condolences to a message on social networks.
