Supporters of Washington Luís, already named candidate for President of the Republic in the 1926 elections, and of Fernando de Melo Viana, chosen to run for vice-president, offered these two politicians a banquet for 400 people, this Monday (28), in Rio de Janeiro.
At this event, Washington – which finds itself in the current political situation – announced its political platform for government. He spoke about policing, finance, social issues and several other topics.
“I consider political-administrative continuity as one of the greatest assets for the development of people,” he said.
