A 28-year-old woman died this Sunday (14/12), after undergoing surgery to place silicone breast implants. The incident occurred in a private hospital in Sorocaba, in the interior of São Paulo.
According to the Public Security Secretariat (SSP), the surgical procedure took place without incident, but the victim presented postoperative complications. She had a cardiopulmonary arrest with multiorgan failure.
The case was registered as natural death at the Sorocaba police station.
