The Datafolha study published this Tuesday (12/9) shows that 31% of those surveyed consider the performance of deputies and senators as bad or terrible, while 21% classify it as excellent or good. 44% believe that the work of the National Congress is regular.
The survey questioned 2,002 Brazilians over the age of 16, in 113 municipalities. The margin of error is plus or minus two percentage points. The confidence level is 95%. The research was carried out between December 2 and 4.
Compared to the last survey, carried out in July, the rate of those who consider performance to be negative has decreased, from 35% to 31%. The positive rating fluctuated between 18% and 21%.
The result comes even after controversial episodes that sparked criticism of Congress’s actions. In September, thousands of demonstrators took to the streets to protest against the Blindagem PEC and the amnesty project, currently being analyzed in the Chamber of Deputies.
STF assessment
The survey also measured the opinion of the respondents on the work of the ministers of the Federal Court (STF). For 35% of them, the performance of Supreme Court officials is bad or very bad. Those who rated it excellent or totaled 32%. 29% believe that the work of magistrates is regular.
