The auditorium of the University Hospital of Toledo hosted the warm and moving tribute to the oncologist Ignacio Chacón, whom his patients hugged and kissed, very grateful for his support in very difficult times.

The patients gave him a book containing personal letters from each of them, a mosaic of photos of all the women he treated during his stay in Toledo. They also gave him a video with a song created exclusively for him.
Last October, Chacón participated in a conference organized by the Association for the Prevention and Care of People Affected by Breast Cancer (Apacama), where he spoke about the changes that have occurred in the disease since his stay in Toledo, in a presentation entitled ‘1991-2025. After more than 40 years of professional career, the last 35 at Virgen de la Salud and later at the University Hospital of Toledo, Dr. Chacón retires, leaving an indelible mark.
