A 49-year-old woman died this morning after being stabbed by her 23-year-old son in a house located at number 267 Bravo Murillo Street, in the Madrid district of Tetuán. The victim had multiple stab wounds to his neck and back, and although Samur PC health workers attempted to save his life, it proved impossible. The National Police arrested the man, who was in the same place, as the alleged perpetrator of the murder.
The events took place around 12:45 a.m. inside the house. The first to arrive were National Police officers after receiving a call for help alerting them to the event. According to reports, the various informers who immediately arrived at the house found the woman without any signs of life.
The agents began resuscitation maneuvers, which were then continued by Samur troops, as explained by their guard on duty, Emilio Benito. He added that the victim was “practically bloodless” and that after half an hour of resuscitation, they certified him dead.
In the same house was the son of the woman with the alleged murder weapon, whom the police arrested as a possible perpetrator of the crime. Agents from the Citizen Assistance Group, the Scientific Police and the Homicide Group V went to the site, responsible for the investigation. The motivations that pushed the son to murder his mother are still unknown.
