The 68 passengers who were traveling on a train traveling from Huelva to Seville and which broke down in Benacazón were stopped for five hours near this Seville municipality before being evacuated.
The vehicle stopped at 4:15 p.m., as Renfe reports. At 6:38 p.m., another locomotive was sent to try to couple it and thus take the victims to the Santa Justa station, but this was not possible. Almost two hours later, at 8:25 p.m., the company called on external means for the evacuation of passengers, which began at 9:19 p.m. with the collaboration of the Civil Guard.
Traffic between Aznalcázar-Pilas and Benacazón, on the Seville-Huelva line, is interrupted due to a train breakdown.
