A 49-year-old man died during the early hours of Friday after a car collided with a truck on the M-50 motorway near the Madrid city of Fuenlabrada, 112 Comunidad de Madrid reported.
At approximately 2:45 a.m., the accident occurred at kilometer 53 of M-50. The car collided with the back of the truck, trapping its driver, resulting in his immediate death from multiple injuries.
Upon arriving at the scene, Summa 112 health workers could only confirm the death of the driver, after which the Community of Madrid Fire Department extricated his body from the vehicle, as soon as the Civil Guard authorized its extraction.
The truck driver was not injured. The Military Institute also took over investigations to clarify what happened, according to what was reported by 112 Comunidad de Madrid.
