
National police arrested a 49-year-old man in the Madrid city of Leganés on Thursday as the alleged perpetrator of the death of his 53-year-old brother, who was found dead with several stab wounds after being alerted by a call about a loud argument inside a house.
The events occurred today at 3 p.m., when the call was received at 091 and Citizen Security agents immediately went to the home, where they found the victim with several stab wounds and no apparent signs of life, the health services having confirmed his death.
On site, they located the brother of the deceased and the alleged perpetrator, who was arrested for the crime of homicide. According to sources from the Superior Police Prefecture, both the victim and the detainee are of Spanish nationality. In addition to the Citizen Assistance Group, agents from the DEVI Scientific Police were deployed, as well as the VI Homicide Group, in charge of the investigation.
During this event, three people died from stabbings in Madrid in the last hours, after this Christmas Eve a 17-year-old boy died in the Puente de Vallecas neighborhood, whose alleged attackers have already been arrested, and a 63-year-old man died in the Chamberí neighborhood.
