
The automotive market continues to expand its offerings in Argentina. On this occasion Nissan presented the renewal of the Kickits SUV, which is already being sold in the country.
It is one of the automaker’s most successful models. It was presented worldwide at the Sao Paulo Show in 2014 and has since sold 730,000 units in Latin America (in Argentina, marketing began in 2017).
The model is completely changedstarting with its dimensions. It is now 1625 mm high (13 mm more than the previous generation), 1800 mm wide (+40 mm), 4365 mm long (+55 mm), has a wheelbase of 2655 mm (+35 mm) and a 470 liter boot – it has increased by around 38 liters.
Unlike its predecessor, it aims to move up to the C segment to make room for the arrival of the Kait next year in the B segment (which in turn will replace the Kicks Play).
The design takes over a more robust aesthetics in which the grill becomes the protagonist thanks to its horizontal lines that widen the front. The engine was also modified. Equip one 1.0-liter three-cylinder turbocharged engine with direct injection that produces around 120 hp and 200 Nm of torqueattached to a DCT transmission (dual clutch transmission). It, in turn, has an electric handbrake and paddles on the steering wheel.
The now more spacious interior features 24-inch screens with wireless connectivity to Apple Auto and Android Auto, voice recognition, a 15W wireless phone charger and four USB-C inputs.
