A 17-year-old teenager, suspected of killing her father, lawyer Joselito de Carvalho Ferreira, 48, presented herself to the Civil Police of Tocantins on Tuesday (2/12). She was accompanied by a lawyer and a legal representative. The victim was killed on November 21, in Gurubi, in the south of the state.

After the teenager was presented, the Secretariat of Public Security (SSP) reported that the arrest warrant had been executed and that she had been transferred to the custody of the Tocantins Social and Educational System. The investigation remains secret due to the participation of minors.
According to civil police, Joselito died from wounds to the neck. The body was found in the backyard of the residence in a pool of blood.
