This Tuesday (16/12), the Federal Police (PF) launched Operation Igapó, with the aim of investigating the practice of corruption crimes committed by a criminal organization composed of public and private agents.
One of the targets of the operation is the deputy Antônio Doido (MDB-PA).
Those investigated allegedly aim to misappropriate public funds through fraud in tender processes, with subsequent use of the diverted sums to pay undue advantages and hide assets.
Federal Police agents execute 31 search and seizure warrants, issued by the Supreme Federal Court (STF), in the State of Pará and the Federal District. The rapporteur of the case at the Court is Minister Flávio Dino.
Crimes of electoral corruption, active and passive corruption, tendering crimes, money laundering and criminal organization are under investigation.
The report contacted the office of MP Antônio Doido. The space remains open for demonstrations.
