A gang specialized in robbing several industrial areas in Madrid Falls

The Madrid Civil Guard has dismantled a criminal organization dedicated to committing forceful and violent robberies in isolated industrial and warehouse areas in several provinces. In total, five people were arrested for 17 crimes against property, including They include force robbery, violent robbery, theft, fraud, and identity theft.

The incidents investigated took place between March and October this year at locations in Madrid, Toledo and Guadalajara, where the gang stole tools, valuables and large coils of copper cable, causing damage in excess of €50,000. In one robbery, the criminals used violence when they were surprised by the ship’s owner. In another case, they caused damage estimated at 12,000 euros to wires.

Without being noticed, the group members acted dressed as fake workers, using reflective vests, work pants, hats and masks to avoid recognition. After the beating, they sold the stolen materials at metal waste management institutions. The operation was carried out by agents from the main Collado Villalba site, who seized three vehicles presumed to have been used in the events. In addition, inspections were carried out at recycling centers and waste managers in southern Madrid to trace the final destination of the stolen materials.
