The robbery of a pharmacy in Morumbi, south of São Paulo, ended with the death of a suspect and a pedestrian shot dead on Saturday afternoon (20).
According to the call received by the Military Police, four men had invaded the pharmacy on two motorcycles and announced the robbery around 12:30 p.m.
The gang fled.
According to the Secretariat of Public Security, during a patrol, police officers spotted the group and there was an exchange of gunfire. That’s when one of the suspects was shot.
“During the search in the area, the police located a stolen motorcycle and one of the suspects with gunshot wounds, who was rescued. A passerby was also shot in the leg and taken consciously, by the Águia helicopter, to the UPA PS Campo Limpo. No police officers were injured,” the secretariat said in a note. The suspect is deceased.
