A man killed his neighbor during Christmas celebrations in the city of La Plata because his son was setting off fireworks and the killer was disturbed by the noise.
The incident occurred in the Aeropuerto district when the 68-year-old shot at his partying neighbors from the window of his apartment.
The attacker fired several shots and two of them hit the victim: one in the neck and one in the shoulder.
Police seized three firearms, a 40 mm caliber pistol used in the attack, with special ammunition, Teflon-coated and conical bullets; a 20 mm caliber shotgun; and an air rifle, with plenty of ammunition and magazines.
The residents of the monoblock district then set fire to the murderer’s car in retaliation.
Experts from the scientific police and the DDI murder squad were on site on behalf of public prosecutor Barraza, who supervised the prevention tasks and the transfer of the body.
