“Due to an incident affecting Madrid Chamartín station (standard track), long-distance AV trains are stopped,” announced the entity responsible for rail traffic in Spain at 10:15 a.m.
The agency explained that long-distance and high-speed trains had an estimated average delay of 25 minutes, an incident that was ultimately delayed by about an hour.
“The incident is over. The fault is repaired and normal circulation is restored. Trains are gradually returning to their frequency» added Adif via his official channels at 11:09 a.m.
