The Civil Police of Amazonas (PCAM) arrested a 35-year-old public employee in reserve, on Sunday (30/11), after rubbing his penis with a woman during the opening ceremony of the headquarters of the Public Ministry of Amazonas (MPAM), last Friday (28).
According to delegate Gilton Santos, the ceremony was attended by public authorities and security teams. However, the suspect approached the victim, rubbed his genitals on her from behind, in addition to passing his hand on her back and making indecent remarks.

The victim, in a state of severe shock, left the scene of the accident and went to the police station on the same day to register a complaint.
The delegate stressed, “Given the elements presented and the seriousness of the context, we represented the court in the pretrial detention of the suspect. The request was approved on Saturday (29) and was implemented on Sunday.”
The investigation was conducted by the 80th Interactive Police Station in Birori, 173 kilometers from Manaus.
The man will be responsible for the crime of sexual harassment and will remain at the disposal of the judiciary.
