Pastor Silas Camara (Republicanos-AM), who once headed and was one of the founders of the Evangelical Parliamentary Front in Congress, was described by his ex-wife Antonia Lucia (Republicanos-AC) as “unfaithful and frustrated.” The two, who are federal lawmakers in the current legislature, had a 33-year relationship and separated in August last year. The impetus behind the public accusations was a video clip in which the parliamentarian appeared without a wedding ring.

- Catholics or Evangelicals: Who marries the most in church?
“You need to heal yourself, Rep. Silas Kamara. Come and help with the things you gave up on out of vanity. Unfaithful and frustrated. Anyone with a wife or husband, beware the little pastor,” Antonia Lucia wrote on Instagram.
GLOBO sought out the MP who did not return calls for the report. The report also heard from Antonia Lucia, who confirmed the authorship of the post and said that she called him “the little shepherd” because of the aesthetic procedures carried out by Silas.
– He now made the face and hair grown away from me. The man feels without an alliance – the parliamentarian said jokingly.
According to the representative, the problems began after two electronic cigarettes were found in her husband’s possession. Since then, according to Antonia, Silas has stayed away from home and cut off contact with his family, including the four grandchildren who live with her. During this period, the parliamentarian says she was never contacted to formalize the divorce, and was surprised by the MP’s public appearances without a wedding ring.
– When I saw him without a ring, he caught my attention. Because no lawyer contacted me, I did not receive any divorce notice, nor did I receive anything. So I don’t think it’s fair for him to do this to me. He is calling me to fight, calling me to know publicly that he is no longer my husband. “Now I ask him to divorce me,” he said.
In the letter posted on Instagram, the parliamentarian accuses the priest of treason, and says that Silas “has harmed many people, and at least two married women.” According to her, the extramarital affairs occurred before her husband left home.
-I can handle all these changes. Psychologically, I’m just an orange mark. “My grandchildren believe that he will return, and this has created suffering for them,” he lamented.
In August 2024, the MP’s profile also published another series of accusations against Silas Kamara: “I’ll tell you right away that I’m not a woman to be clowned around and made to look like a cry, no! I’ll give you a change in kind.” However, the post was later deleted, and Antonia Lucia claimed that she was the target of hackers.
