Even without winning any titles this season, the Portuguese praised Palmeiras in 2025. For him, it was a year of reformulation.
“We managed to break another record, 76 points. This is the second best ranking, no one has ever managed to come second with 76 points. Unfortunately, there was a team that was better than Palmeiras,” the coach began.
“In a year of reformulation, a year of 17 exits and 11 entrances, where we invested money for the present and the future, a very well planned season. Of the five titles, Brasileirão, with 76 points, and Libertadores, there is only one club that did better than us”, concluded Abel Ferreira.
