Accessibility services at Betis for fans with limited mobility

On the occasion of Disability Week – promoted by the Real Betis Balompie Foundation for the ninth year in a row, which aims to promote the inclusion of people with functional diversity on match days and in life in general – The club reminds its fans with functional or mobility problems of all the facilities available on match days to reach the stadium.

Although the stadium change had some difficulties transporting seats and tickets for members and fans with functional impairments and/or limited mobility, for several days, the club had its full services available to provide the best possible service to fans with limited mobility.

The Disability Department is responsible for providing personal attention to each spectator. To qualify for these benefits, you must contact them via email kapacita@realbetisbalompie.es.

We accompany you to your seat

Real Betis has volunteers who during matches help those in need, and this is one of their most important tasks. If a person cannot reach their seat normally – and can prove this – the club offers this support. The procedure is simple: the person contacts the club via the above-mentioned email, his condition is assessed and one or more volunteers are assigned to be on guard during the match.

From the designated meeting point, the fan and volunteer meet, and from there they are escorted to their seat. In addition, if the person requests it, volunteers can also help the person go to the bathroom or elsewhere on the playground during recess or when needed.

Sensory kits and matching guides

Real Betis BalompiƩ also has sensory kits to improve the experience for fans with autism or cognitive issues. These free packages include noise-canceling headphones and toys, designed to help deal with the stress that the sounds of a football match can cause.

There are also match guides, easy-to-read walkthroughs and cognitive access tools for those fans.

Access to the playground

Cartoga Stadium has three doors that allow full entry from the street without the need to go up or down. These doors are: Door 10 in Fondo, Door 6 in Gul Sur and Door 14 in Gul Norte. Although it is always advisable to contact the DAO (Disability and Accessibility Officer), via the email mentioned above, to obtain as much information as possible and to ensure that there are no problems.

Wheelchair seats

For people with limited mobility and those who use wheelchairs, the club has special areas to locate chairs and enjoy the game completely naturally. Wheelchair seats are located in the middle tier of the back, the middle tier of Gol Sur (corner with the back), the middle tier of Gol Sur (the corner with the vantage) and the middle tier of Gol Norte (the corner with the vantage).

Temporary site changes

Members with temporary mobility issues (such as a leg injury) who cannot go to their seats and need an accessible location should email kapacita@realbetisbalompie.es At least two working days before the match to be able to manage each situation.

A temporary location change service can be implemented for subscribers as long as space is available in an accessible area, or in an area adapted for wheelchair users if necessary.

Through all these facilities, the club seeks to ensure that people with disabilities can enjoy the stadium without having to worry about anything, focusing only on the game experience.
