Executive Bruno Spindel has been signed to Cruzeiro again after ending negotiations with Corinthians. The professional had already been approached by the owner of SAF, Pedro Lourenço.
Spindel is coach Tite’s trusted name and even gave the green light for the negotiation, but Corinthians came with an official proposal and values that pleased the manager.
After President Osmar Stábile backed out of the deal, Spindel made himself available to Cruzeiro again and further conversations could lead to an agreement in the coming days.
The executive understands that SAF da Raposa has a more organized project, not to mention a good relationship with the coach. Recently, Cruzeiro lost Paulo Pelaipe to Grêmio.
After that, Joaquim Pinto took on the role of sporting director, while Rodrigo Ramos became executive director of football.

“With the aim of putting an end to speculation and false information, I clarify that after expressing my agreement with the proposal presented to me by the Sport Club Corinthians Paulista to assume the position of Director of Professional Football, I consider that the negotiations with the club are over. The decision results from the inability to send, within a reasonable time, the formal contract for signature, on the conditions previously agreed.
