The defense of former President Jair Bolsonaro (PL) said that the medical examination, which took place this Wednesday (12/17), “took place normally.” According to lawyer João Henrique de Freitas, the former president, however, had a new attack of hiccups.

“Once the medical examination was completed, we left the premises at that time. The examination took place normally, with the experts examining Prof. @jairbolsonaro accompanied by Dr. Caiado. The Prof. was sobbing. The experts informed that they would now transmit the expertise to the minister,” said João Henrique de Freitas.
Medical expertise
Former President Jair Bolsonaro underwent a medical examination this Wednesday (12/17) at the Regional Superintendence of the Federal Police complex. The expertise was determined by Minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the Supreme Federal Court (STF), who also requested the sending of the medical examinations and reports presented by Bolsonaro’s defense for analysis by experts from the Federal Police (PF).
Moraes’ decision was made on Monday (15/12) and is part of the investigation into the need for possible surgery alleged by the former agent’s lawyers. The measure comes within the framework of the criminal execution resulting from the conviction of Bolsonaro to 27 years and three months in prison, in an initial closed regime.
